Today was my first Friday since Volunteering at The Shelter...to not make it to the shelter. I had an appt set for 12 so I knew I wouldn't be able to stay a full 2 hrs but I was still planning on making it. Then there was predicted rain...still I was going to figure out how to make it work and at least get some of those sweet pups out. Then the severe weather warnings started showing up and I decided to not go. It worked out ok because my docs office closed early and I had to go in at 11am anyway. But, I still didn't get to see those sweet faces and get them some time outside. It ended up being beautiful but very high winds. No bad weather in Nashville yet...its 2:00pm...but its 80 degrees and I am sure some crazy weather is coming.
I strongly love seeing those dogs on Friday and I am very sad that I missed them today. I hope they get love until next time and though I will miss them...it would be great if some of those faces were taken home to their furever homes before I make it back. Good Luck Sweet Pups!!!!
