We Survived...

Our First Family 5k

And what an adventure it was!  We all had cordinating outfits and it made for some pretty cute pictures.

We headed to Demonbreun all ready around 4:30pm and man was it HOT!!!! Mom & Larry met us down there to witness the cute outfits and see us off!

I was so excited for James to be running his first 5k and I knew he would do great!

It was oh so hot and Sweet Billy had so much trouble. We had to stop multiple times to help him cool down. This will probably be his last Summer/Hot Weather 5k. He will have to stick to the fall race in October. 

My first Beer of the YEAR!!!!!!!

It was AMAZING!!!!

One thing that was really cool was that we won the costume contest. That's right "The Chocolate Tacos!"

The babies eventually cooled off. We took them to Nana's for a dip in the pool and some relaxation while we headed to Adult Cinco in Brentwood!
