Now that I am a weekly volunteer at the shelter, I love checking their website and see who has been adopted. Not everyone is always listed...but most are. Each time I check one maybe two have been adopted...or maybe no changes. Today, I saw Kenny's FB Status and he had been off the last two days and lots of his favorites...he calls "work crushes" were gone. Which is always a bitter sweet feeling.
So, I headed over the the NHA website to see for myself and oh my goodness...I was overwhelmed with joy at all the adopted listings...it was awesome. Ones that had been there for a good while were adopted, along with some newer ones it was amazing news to me.

I was over joyed. I am so happy to see that so many were adopted. I have a feeling that Sundays are always good days for the pups at the shelter. They doors open at noon and they seem to come pouring in.
If you haven't visited NHA or your local shelter ever...or if its been awhile...stop by and walk a dog, love on a pup, hold a cat. Even if you can't provide them with a furever home, the love you give for those few minutes will be so awesome for them and mean the world to you.
You will walk away feeling good...I promise!!!!
