A Little Creek Time

I always want to do something fun with the pups on the weekend...and especially on a holiday weekend. We have a little creek that is in walking distance. Its not the same as going to the river...but it is tons of fun too. And this trip we found out how much Bailey really likes going under water!!! I for see some fun tricks ahead!!!!

So, thanks to James we all went and it was fun and the dogs wore themselves out!!!!

Sunday Fun Day At The Lake

Our first day at the lake this year! We were happy to be spending some time with friends this holiday!

A Hot Hot Hot One At The Shelter

I love going to the shelter...that is no secret. I love seeing the dogs and giving them the attention they deserve. But, this morning when I got up to walk my dogs it was already so hot. I really didn't want to go to the shelter and it took all I had in me to remind myself why I go. Luckily, Mom showed up to help so we got twice as many dogs done in less time. It totally made my morning to go and have her help me. 

Here is who I saw today:

Dixie a sweet medium sized girl. 

Izzy who has been at the shelter way too long. She is so adorable, 

but she isn't very personable. She is into hunting and I think that is 

a turn off for potential adopters because they think they aren't bonding with her. 

Sweet Percy is still here :-(

Sweet Sammy is still here :-(

I got some time with Zen, Mom took him first but he was too much. 

So I gave her a sweet dog named Lady to walk instead :-)

I also got to walk Buddy and get so wet kisses :-)

And sweet little, tiny, Lelowe is who I ended my day with. 

Lump had some issues today...but I am pretty sure he is headed home!!!!

2 Birthdays to Celebrate SIX!!!!

This year we were gone to Cali on Billy's Birthday...

However, I'm pretty sure it was an awesome Birthday cause he got to celebrate a lot!

On Tuesday, his actual Birthday Pam and Sydney Spoiled him!!!!  Yes I left him a few wrapped gifts :-)

He sure did enjoy this pool while we were away!

Then, Saturday I baked him a cake!

He just knew it was for him 

They didn't like waiting

Bailey actually did better with this at first than Billy. Her snout is skinnier and she was able to get a hold of them with her teeth better! But it was fun for everyone!!!
