Just Around The Corner

After many months, June is finally here and that can only mean one thing...(at least for me)...CMA Fest 2011!!!! Thursday the hot, fun, craziness will begin and it will not slow down til late late Sunday night. This is the 40th year and I am so happy to be able to be apart of it.

Back in 2008, my cousin Anthony and I attempted this adventure for the first time and it was amazing...there will definitely never be another year quite like it!!!!

In 2009, I opted to sit out of the 4 day passes since we were having a family reunion, but still managed to attend a view of the shows...one not even being able to be completed due to the weather :-( But I quickly realized how much I missed being a 4 day participant.

In 2010, we did it right again...4 day passes with a few extra guests during the day and one day some will never remember and others will never forget ;-)

That brings us to 2011...this year 4 day pass holders...with a twist. This year James and I each have a pass...his parents Mark and Mary each have a pass...and then 2 others to be split between Mom, Larry, Anthony and Dad.

It should be a very fun and exciting year and I can't wait to sweat in the hot sun and see all the wonderful artists!!!
