Lyrics of The Week #10 Without You

Without You- Keith Urban

I’ve loved you since the very first day
When I caught you looking my way
A smile and just knew it.
Aint open to you came along, no one ever my song,
Now its climbing with a bullet.

PRE-CHORUS
Its nice to have someone, so honestly devoted,
That when it’s said and done, girl I hope you know that,

CHORUS
The travelling, the singing, it don’t mean nothing without you
The fast cars, the guitars, they are all just second to,
This life, this love that you and I have been dreaming of, for so long
It’d all be as good as gone, without you.

Oh ho, without you, hey...

VERSE
Along comes a baby girl, and a suddenly my little world,
Just got a whole lot bigger, yes it did.
And people that I barely knew, love me ‘cos I’m part of you
Man I start to figure
How two souls can be, miles from one another
But still you and me, have somehow found each other.
The travelling, the singing, it don’t mean nothing without you
The fast cars, the guitars, they are all just second to,
This life, this love that you and I have been dreaming of, for so long
It’d all be as good as gone, without you.

Without you, ohhhh ho ho

BRIDGE
Without you I’d survive, but I’d have to have a notion
That I could live this life, just going through the motions

CHORUS
The travelling, the singing, it don’t mean nothing without you
The fast cars, the guitars, they are all just second to,
This life, this love that you and I have been building up so high
It’s never gonna touch the sky, without you.

Mmmm, without you
Without you, baby, baby, baby without you
Without you.

Eva...We will MISS You!!!!!!

I can't believe we are having to say goodbye to our IVWU friend Eva. She has been such a great addition to the office. It has been so fun to hang out with her in and out of the office. We will miss her so much...but hopefully will get to steal some time from her when she is not on call.

Garrett Family Reunion

Over the last 5 years or so I have gotten to know some of the Garrett Clan...all of which are wonderful! This year they had a reunion in Gatlinburg and both James and I were able to go.

The plan was for us to ride with Mom and Larry and then stay in a cute little 3 bed room condo with them, Mary Katherine & Mickey and the girls. We got there for a happy hour event Friday evening and Saturday spent cruising the sights and then for the real reunion dinner Saturday evening.

Overall it was a fun weekend and I am so glad we went.

Thanks Garret Clan!!!!

Lyrics of The Week #9 What I'm For

What I'm For - Pat Green

I'm for wildflowers in the window
Mechanics you can trust
I'm for crackers in my chili
And leavin' grudges in the dust

I'm for drive thru order takers
Who can muster up a smile
I'm for takin' in that stray dog
That's been hangin' 'round for awhile

I'm for turning off the TV
Gettin' off the internet
I'm for learning all the words
To the Gettysburg Address

I'm for dusty pawn shop guitars
And boxers passed their prime
I'm for soakin' up the wisdom
When an old man speaks his mind.

I'm for laid off factory workers
When the wolf is at the door
You don't have to guess what I'm against
If you know what I'm for

I'm for Texas Margaritas
Gettin' outta debt
I'm for havin' faith in something
That hasn't happened yet

For the shy kid in the corner
Afraid to ask the girl to dance
For the ex-con outta prison
Who just wants a second chance

For the inner city teacher
With her heart stuck in her throat
Can still see God in every child
And never gives up hope

I'm for dusty pawn shop guitars
And boxers passed their prime
I'm for soakin' up the wisdom
When and old man speaks his mind

I'm for Detroit factory workers
When the wolf is at the door
You don't have to guess what I'm against
If you know what I'm for

I'm counting all my blessings
When the wolf is at my door
You don't have to ask what I'm against
You don't have to guess what I'm against
You know what I'm for
