A Wonderful Sunday Afternoon

The weather in Nashville was perfect this weekend and James and I have been saying how much we long for a Vacation. Heading Downtown for a late lunch at Margartiaville was perfect. We had the yummiest mixed drinks...a few beers...great fried pickles and the biggest nachos you have ever seen!

It was the perfect way to spend our Sunday afternoon together!

Its Time For A Boost!

Friday, James and I had a "to do list" and on it was

check out our near by gyms and join one.

Well, join one we did! Now there are no excuses!!!!

So Boost Fitness...here we come!!!!

The Social Network

James and I hit up a Redbox every now & then for a good ol' dinner & a movie night at home. Last night this was our choice:

Even if you aren't on facebook or aren't someone who logs in each day this is a entertaining fun movie.

Definitely worth renting!

A Little Shopping...A Little Dinner...A Good Night

Monday night the plan was to research and possibly

buy a new washer and dryer!

So to make the night a little more fun we planned

to do dinner while we were out too.
We started at Home Depot, made our way to HH Gregg and then ended up at The Sears Scratch and Dent on Thompson Lane. They had just recieved a good number of new Samsung's that were just not the newest model but we nice and a great price....SOLD!!!!!

Then we headed to 12 South to try out Burger Up! Since they opened we have been wanting to go there but everytime we thought about it and drove by it was completely slammed. This time we got in and got a nice little table by the window! Once we got in their we realized why there was always a wait...though the place is super cute, it is super small.

We started out with a few beers and fried pickles...my fav!!! They were really good. Then we both split a woodstock burger and the chilli cheese burger with sweet potatoe fries and the fried vidalia onion tower. I thought all were really great. James wasn't as impressed as I was ;-) that's to be expected. He thought the burgers should have been bigger, but he was full we he left. I was really interested in the dessert menu...but was too full, so I resisted. But, next time I am definitely going to try one of these because they all sound wonderful!!!!

~olive & sinclair dark chocolate and peanut butter brownie a la mode
~krispy creme donut pudding with grand marnier creme anglaise
~smores tiramisu

2 Months Til Spring!

Usually the cold weather and no sunshine really starts bothering me in November just that change of everything just really brings me down and makes me miss Summer. Well Fall 2010 had so much going on with moving and holidays that thankfully I didn't really have time to even let it bother me.

However...
Now I am dying for Spring to get here. We have had so much cold, cold weather and so much snow that I am beginning to HATE snow. Usually one good snow fall is all we get and that is plenty for me...we have already had a handful of snowy days and to me that is way more than enough for me.

So I have officially started the count down to the first day of Spring...even though that doesn't guarantee me the warm weather it does give me something to look forward to. And I know exactly what I am going to do that first day of warm weather!!!!!

Take my sweet babies to THE RIVER!!!!!

We live like 2 minutes from the river now and we are definitely going to take advantage of it!!!!

Just Another Dinner & A Movie

Friday night Dad and I met up for another night of Dinner and a Movie! And we made good choices on both parts. We went to Hollywood 27 to see The Tourist and we ended the night at Bella Napoli for a wonderful dinner!!!!!

Finally Back to Normal Me =

Date Night!!!!!

I went to my 1 week follow up and now I am clear to wear makeup and not sleep in goggles!!!! I am so excited. It has been since Dec 15th that my

life has been normal (thats my last day of contacts).

Anyway, my wonderful Doctor's office gave me this

too cute shirt for choosing them and having such a successful surgery.

I think it is adorable!

To top it off I came home to a beautifully clean house, flowers

and got to go out on a dinner date!

We had a wonderful dinner at Nero's in Green Hills!

Then it was back home to watch a good movie with these sweet faces!!!!

Definitely A Great Night!!!

Snow Snow Snow and More Snow

Really....Back To Normal

Slowly but surely I feel that things are getting back to normal.

We made it through the holidays :-)

I don't have to wear my glasses any more :-)

We are back in our normal work schedule routine :-)

Now I am just ready for some make up!!!!!!

She's Going To The Chapel

Saturday morning Cheryl threw a wonderful shower for Liz. The food was amazing...absolutely love her house and the company was great too! I think everyone enjoyed the party very much...especially Liz! She got some great gifts! Overall, great party...sure glad I missed the after party though! ;-)

Hanging With The Girls

So Day 2 made it though my post op and doing well enough to hang with these rowdy girls!!!!!

Actually the girls were really great! It was fun getting to spend some time with just them! Can't remember the last time I baby sat...or played Barbies or played magic princes...but we had lots of fun!!!!

I Survived....Oh Yeah & I Can See!!!!

So...yesterday went as well as could be expected! I got to the doctor bright and early and was back home by about 10:30. The nice thing was it was very easy for me to sleep through the rest of the day. I didn't really get out of bed until 3:30pm. Good rest for my mind, body and eyes. The experience was great...the actual process was a bit uncomfortable due to the pressure and awkwardness of my eyes being held open, but it really was painless. And immediately I could see better...by the time I got home it was almost perfect!

It was a great experience and I can't wait to see how my eyes continue to improve!

Last Night of Glasses!

So...I have been alive for approx 10,397 days and of those days for approximately 6,405 days I have had to wear glasses or contacts to see...mainly wearing my contacts. That's 62% of my life! And the other 38% of my life that I didn't need either was mainly baby memories and early childhood that I don't even remember. I say all of this to say that tomorrow at 8:30am I having Lasik surgery! I am so so so excited and can't even begin to imagine what life from here on out will be like. I even had a friend go on to say that it will be the best day of my life next to my wedding and babies being born...ummm thats pretty much way way up there. So, I hope that I have a really positvie experience that I can share with others as well!

I will say this though...the last 21 days of glasses only has not been fun at ALL!!! It sucks in general but having those 21 days include two major holidays was ROUGH!

Just wanted to make sure I marked this special day in time...I will post more POST OP!!!!!

New Years Dinner

This year at Mom and Larry's house we got to have another Traditional New Years Day Dinner. It was nice to have Mary, Mark, Mary Katherine, Mickey, Holine, Ryan, Mom, Larry, James and I all together.

It was also really nice to recall last year's dinner. James and I had only known each other for a few weeks, but it was a very special dinner and wonderful night!

Out With the Old & In With the New ~ Here Comes 2011!!!!

After having a good NYE day while James was at work :-(

Mark, Mary and I headed to Valentino's to have a drink until James was done.

The bar was pretty fun and had some live music so we ended up celebrating

with everyone there and ringing in the New Year at Valentinos.

I'm Country Strong!

New Year's Eve Day Mom, Larry, Mary, Mark and I went to the movies out at Cool Springs being that it was the only Theater showing Country Strong...the comical part...we ran into my Dad :-) on a date :-)
The Movie however was...GREAT!!!! I really enjoyed it and loved the Soundtrack. I was impressed by all and definitely recommend it!!!!
