This past weekend some of us from work finally got together and we ALWAYS have fun when we do! Thanks to the Tin Roof for hosting an event, that usually helps get us all out together! Hopefully, as the nice weather rolls in there will be more fun times to be had.
I love these people!!!!

30 Days
Last year sometime early February Mom brought up this great idea that some of Larry's family was coming into town to run the Country Music 1/2 Marathon and maybe we should do it too. In the previous years I had absolutely loved watching the race from my front porch. Seeing all of those people running all at once was just amazing! I never actually dreamed I attempt the race or even finish the race. However, immediately Mom and I started our training process and just in time for the race we were ready. It was extremely hot, but it was so much fun and such a wonderful event. I was thrilled to complete the race with my Mom. Our time 3:06
Then in the fall the organization I Run For the Party decided to do their first 1/2 Marathon in Nashville and some how we jumped at the opportunity again and completed our 2nd race. Mom even placed 2nd in her age group! Our time 2:56
Now it is once again Spring time in Nashville and the 1/2 Marathon is just around the corner. I can't believe we only have 30 days left. The weather has been so on and off and our schedules have been so crazy that I don't feel like we have gotten enough training time it at all.
Last year it was just about finishing, but now with 2 under our belt it is about doing better than before. In order to accomplish that you MUST train well! I don't know how we are going to survive and definitely don't know how we are going to beat our time!!!!
Please send prayers and well wishes our way and stay tuned to see how we do! :-)
Having A Girl Dog Is A Little Different

So, there are a ton of fun things you can buy for your dogs these days. Billy has definitely seen his fair share...from baby pools to life jackets...pool toys to pool rafts and everything in between. Needless to say Billy is spoiled :-) Well spoiling two with love is easy...but spoiling two with toys and accessories is a little more difficult. So we have turned on the practical switch...However...this is pretty ridiculous!!!!
The other night I made a dreaded trip to Petsmart specifically for Miss Bailey...for period panties!!!! Yes I made the purchase. You would be surprised at all the options I had. Unfortunately she needed a Small and a half :-) which of course doesn't exist so we went for the Mediums. We are just being preventative right now but I know one day she will have to actually wear them and guess what...She HATES them!!!! I didn't get a good shot of her because she hates them so much and Billy of course just laughed at her ;-)

Tulips Are A Girl's Next Best Friend
Until this past Monday I had never been given tulips before...and I love them! They are so beautiful!!! In the processes of admiring their beauty I found my Macro setting on my camera. I took a Photography class a few years back and we talked about this setting, but I never could quite master it. I must have been taking pictures of the wrong items, in the wrong light because I just love how some of these turned out!!!! What do you think?

Things I Have Learned Since Making The Jump From 1 Dog to 2!
Billy and I have now had Bailey in our lives for 3 1/2 Months. Everyone was very supportive of us giving Ms. Bailey a home, but we also got many warnings on the difficulties to come. I think I mainly was worried about Bill, I was worried that his quality of life would decrease (lol yes I am crazy) but I also knew Bailey would be his playmate and BFF for life! Anyway, here are a few things I have learned over the past months, I am sure Billy would have a pretty commical list of his own if asked ;-)
I've Learned...
~Billy can survive not being an only child
~Billy sometimes wishes he still was an only child
~Bailey thinks she is an only child and that Bill is just for walking on and playing with
~You pick up more toys when there are 2 dogs
~There is no sharing of toys equally, ever!
~The word "No" is used more frequently
~Feeding two food motivated dogs is expensive and loud
~Why there are fewer pictures of the middle children in families
~Why the 2nd child's baby book never gets finished
~That leaving two dogs alone is much easier than leaving one alone all day
~That keeping one dog calm is much easier than keeping 2 calm/quiet
~That keeping 2 dogs entertained is much easier than entertaining 1 all the time!
~That walking 2 dogs is harder than walking 1
~How much I miss the one-on-one time I had with Billy
~That I don't think I ever had the chance to have one-on-one time with Bailey
~That bonding with the second dog takes alot longer & is harder, & has nothing to do with their personality
~Spoiling 2 dogs is just as easy as spoiling 1
~It is harder to treat 2 dogs as humans, unfortunately for Billy they are both becoming aware that they are in fact dogs
~The joy of watching them play together & love each other is totally worth all the extra trouble
~Finally I have learned that I have enough patience and love for two wonderful dogs!!!

My New Car Is Here!!!!!
After all the drama of my wreck at the end of February...the car process was a little difficult. It was hard deciding what I needed and wanted and what would suite me and the dogs best. I was a little limited with my search time due to not having a rental for very long, but it was nice to get it over with and move on.
Thanks to the help of a family friend Shannon, I ended up with a really nice 2009 Ford Escape. I went and picked it up Friday so I haven't had it very long, but so far
I am LOVING it!!!!!
Billy got to ride in it this morning, all the way in the back...that's the new deal. Gotta keep the car nice & clean, so he is learning how to be a way in the back rider. He actually did really good & no complaining at all. He seemed a bit confused at first but was happy to get to go. Once the dog barrier I ordered arrives I will allow Ms. Bailey to ride as well. She's a bit more mischievous than Big Brother Bill! But once everything is set up correctly I think we will all love our new car!!!!

Another Trip To Radnor

We are so so lucky to have Radnor Lake so close to us and even closer to Mom and Larry's house. It is one of Billy's favorite places and being able to walk with his Nana is always awesome!! Here are some picts from our car ride there and back. Bailey is definitely getting better about riding especially now that she has her harness and she is realizing that 95% of the time a car ride = a fun event.
That being said, she is still extremely awkward in the car. Her legs are just too long and her but is just too boney. But she always has a good attitude about her difficult time and when she gets worn out from trying to sit up she just lays down.
Let me tell you a secret...
Ready for a ride!
Still a little awkward

Goodbye February!
We are very happy to say goodbye to February and hopefully goodbye to cold and snow. We are definitely excited to
All my down time spent at home has been much enjoyed by the dogs...they love all the attention even if they are being taken on fewer walks due to the difficulty of walking both of them with my injuries.
Here are some pictures...Bailey clearly worships her Bill!
One of the things we have been working on very hard is Bailey gaining weight. When we first went to the Doctor she weighed 27lbs+ and went back and forth between gaining and losing a pound. She is finally starting to gain pieces of pounds here and there but still is so skinny. When she lays down you can really see how skinny minnie she is hopefully, within the next few weeks we will add a few pounds here and there.
Though Billy out weighs Bailey...she really calls the shots. He lets her walk all lover him and sit on top of him and everything. However this one night he decided he wanted on the couch with us and he wanted to be by Mom. He worked his way in and pushed her around and she actually loved it...it meant she got to snuggle up with him!
