Autumn is Here????

So my calendar says First Day of Autumn...

Nashville's temp is currently 80 and will hit 94 before the day is over.

So, for me it doesn't really feel like Autumn is here...but I do believe it is just around the corner. The last few weeks have been crazy with getting back from Vacation and trying to get back on schedule and then having a death in the family and all the events and drama and stress that go along with that. Now, we are looking at October approaching and there is just so much going on!

This weekend: House sitting with all 4 DOGS!!!!! Haunted house with The Braswell's

Next weekend: Garage Sale~ I'm super nervous

Oct 5th: All For The Hall Concert! James and I get to go on a double date with Cheryl and Jay :-)
Oct 9th: Race For The Cure 5k! I get to run with my Uncle Billy in honor of Sharon :-)

Oct 13th: Carrie Underwood Concert! With some of my most fav girls!!!!

And Then HOPEFULLY we will be packing and getting everything ready for our BIG MOVE!!!!

I am definitely ready to be all moved in and settled...can't wait for November ;-)

To The Dog Park We Go!

Friday when I got off work I went home and relaxed a bit with the babies til James got off work...he worked a day shift yay!!!! And when he got home he suggested we treat the babies to a DOG PARK visit!!!! Bailey had never been and Billy hadn't been in over a year. I had stopped taking Billy because he either humped dogs all the time or would get a stick and be the typical "only child" dog. So I was very anxious to see how Bailey would do and how Billy would do after an absence plus now having sister with him. I had really thought that I wanted to take them when it would be slow there and maybe they would chase each other and have a good ol time. But, being Friday it was packed!!!! I didn't get very good pictures but I will share them any way.

So...Bails did GREAT!!!! She had a good time. She was a little timid and shy at first but played well with others and chased really well. She will definitely get to go back! Billy on the other hand...did terrible and had to be leashed and just watch Bails play because he wouldn't quit humping...poor Bill. Maybe one day he will learn!

I am so excited about our trip! I am excited about:

seeing the beach

the wonderful seafood and meals

the drinks

the pictures I will take

all the old memories this place will remind me of

all the new memories that will be made

vacationing with James for the first time!

On the other end I am a bit nervous/anxious/sad about:

leaving my baby boy and baby girl

having people stay with them that they aren't use to and aren't use to them either

Bailey has never been left befor and Bill has only been left twice and that was over a yr ago

Bill is missing out on a beach trip this year

all the possible disasters that could happen at work

I know we will have a wonderful trip and come Wednesday I will be wondering why our Vacation is slipping away so fast.

Here is to a wonderful trip full of great memories!!!!!

At the last minute I got tickets to The Titan's Thursday night game. I was super excited about going, but it made me feel rushed to get everything together before I left town. My original plan was to spend everything last minute with my babies. But it worked out great and it was a fun night!!!!
