Just Catching Up...No Pictures :-(

The past few days lots have been going on. For one James and I have both had a Summer cold, which is super annoying and no fun...but we have some how managed and kept going the best we can.

Saturday we both attended our first Gun and Knife Show at the Fair grounds. I had no clue what to expect so I was necsarily disappointed...but I did think $7 was way too much for what we got to see. James was more disappointed with the prices. However, we had never been and now we can say differently! We also got to have a good lunch at Calypso Cafe...James had never been there either so it was nice to introduce him to something new that he liked!

Afterwards we went by Mom and Larry's to say hi and then Mom and I ran some errands and when we returned the guys we just relaxin in the pool so we of course had to join. It was a nice relaxing afternoon.

Later in the afternoon James had to go to work (12 hr shift) :-( and I had plans with my BFF Tracy. She just bought a townhouse in Lenox Village!!!!!! So I drove out there to see her new place and have dinner and catch up. It was really fun getting to see her new place and just realizing how grown up purchasing a house is!!!!!!

Then on Sunday we slept in which was NICE!!!!! My poor Mom had to go to Northcrest to stay with my Grandma who had a mini stroke and they think small heart attach earlier in the week. She has to have someone stay with her 24/7 because she is so much trouble and hard to look after. She is definitely a handful and all of this has been hard on Gene, Billy and Mom. Anyway, James and I ran some errands and went to one of our favorite spots ;-) TJ Maxx.

Later that afternoon a new pizza place that the owners of Valentino's are opening over off Edgehill called
Bella Napoli's was having a soft opening. So we went to the house hoping to have Larry join us for that. So we headed over there to see the place and get some good Pizza and drinks! It was a really cool place and I am anxious for it to open and see how it does. James and I spent our evening there hanging out with some of his co-workers and just having fun.

So it was a really random, but fun weekend. Sorry there are NO PICTURES :-(
