Lunch Time!

So, we have been in our house less than a week and we have discovered that our Sweet Bailey doesn't like to be left in our very noisey condo. She barks constantly. Like for hours!!! So after a few mental break downs our sweet baby has learned a few manners but has to spend a lot of time in her crate. The nice thing is she doesn't seem to mind it and doesn't make you feel horrible for putting her in there.

One of the benefits of our new living situation is location...and that means that lots of days James gets to go home for lunch. Its nice cause it breaks up his day and allows him to eat at home which is usually cheaper. It also means he gets to see the pups!!! The other day while he was at home for lunch I got this picture in a text.

Poor Billy...the things humans make pups do :-)

Elmington Park

Now that we are finally getting into a routine...and are all moved...and James is almost fully recovered we have made a few visits to our new local park. Both visits I haven't had my good camera and had to settle with phone picts...but here are a few pretty good ones.

The pups are learning how to listen and run and play in a limited area. They still have their leashes on while playing but aren't being held. There are leash laws so I want to be careful...plus kids here and there and a cars not too far. But, I hope to get them to a point where they are really good at playing here. It will probably be next Spring with the Winter coming...but it is a good goal. :-)

Another Not So Fun Weekend

Soooo...the last few weekends here have been gorgeous...and we missed them due to new/old house stuff :-( Now, James is having to have his wisdom teeth out on Thursday...so this weekend isn't looking too fun either.

Guess we will have to wait til Halloween weekend to have some fun!!!!

Dog Walking

Dog Walking is a huge topic in our house...especially since our move. Living in a Condo means that even for just pee breaks we got to leash up and head out. It has definitely been a transition to go back to daily walks and not have the option of a lead and a front yard like we did on Clifton Lane. However, though I have had some breakdowns over my lack of control over the pups...(they basically weigh what I do when you put them together) James has done amazing with them. He has morning shift and I have afternoon/night shift. Which works pretty good since I take longer to get ready in the morning and usually get home first.

We still need to work on some manners and being easier and slower but I think we are on the right track!

Bailey's New Room

A new house for Bailey means a brand new room make over. The other house was so perfect for her because she had a walk in closet with her crate all to herself with her very own window. It was just perfect...plus the crate was completely out of the way. At our new place the dogs kind of have their own room which is nice but her crate is just in the corner. So I decided to remodel it for her :-) We will see how long the fabric lasts.

Yep! We've Moved!

The past 2 weeks, especially the weekends have been rough. If we weren't packing, carrying or lifting, we were cleaning. We both scrubbed and cleaned things we never thought we would in our old house. Here are a few pictures from the past few days.

Tricks for Treats

Welcome!

This Saturday James and I worked on moving somethings into our new place. I am a bit nervous about moving into our new place so when I came in and saw this...it definitely made me smile and feel good. Thank you Karen Shell!

We worked long and hard and our neighbor told us about Yazoo having a festival to celebrate their Birthday at the Brewery. So after working long and hard we figured out how to clean up a bit with what we had and headed out!
