Snow Dayz for The Pups!!!!!

We woke up yesterday morning to SNOW!!! The last time it snowed the dogs didn't really get an opportunity to get out in it...so they had a little time in the morning and they loved running and basically playing tag your it!

Due to the unknown conditions James and I headed to his house to make sure he had what he needed if we got snowed in...and when we returned there was much more snow for the dogs to play in and they loved it. Make sure to check out the video...its really cute!

Once they got all their energy out, they came in and parked it right where I thought they would right in front of the heater...and of course side by side :-)

Billy didn't want the fun to be over!

Zoo Run Run!!!!

So, this past Saturday the Nashville Zoo had a 5K run. I had never done one before, but when I heard about it I really wanted to participate. Mom wasn't going to be able to join me so I knew that would make it even harder. But, I asked my BFF Tracy to join me and she surprisingly said yes and also got her sister Allison to join us. At first I thought it was going to be a pretty good day for a race the trail was a little wet but the temperature wasn't too bad, but by the end it was pretty chilly.

(its still a challenge to get a picture of the 3 of us)

Overall, it was a really good experience. I was proud of myself for actually signing up, showing up and finishing. My goal was just under 40mins but I crossed the finish line at exactly 35:31!!!! It was a great feeling!!!

Saying Goodbye To A Wonderful Lady

Last week our family lost such a precious person, my Aunt Sharon Reynolds Braswell. She left behind a wonderful husband and 3 wonderful children. Dealing with the reality of it all has been really hard on everyone. Thankfully, we have a very loving, supportive family to help everyone get through this difficult time. Sharon will be missed by all, but I know Billy and the kids will miss her for the rest of there lives.

Though we are all scattered about so many family members were able to make it to Tennessee for the funeral service. Afterwards we all gathered back at Mom's and we able to enjoy the time we had together despite the reason. I am so thankful for this family I have, they are so wonderful!

Life in our house can get a little crazy at times and a little loud. You never know when they are ready to go at it full speed. But when it gets quiet they are pretty sweet and so loveable!
